Playboy Jewellery in New Zealand

Jewellery Care

Our Playboy jewellery line is authentic and licensed by Playboy. So you know you're buying only the best. Playboy does not settle for anything less, so neither do we.

Our Playboy jewellery comes in its own packaging with the authentic Playboy hologram symbol on each, unless otherwise stated. The authentic line includes Playboy necklaces, anklets, bracelets, earrings, rings, belly chains, eyebrow rings and so much more. Each piece of Playboy jewellery is also made using genuine Swarovski crystals.

All our jewellery is Sterling Silver or silver plated with Rhodium. The silver plated jewellery will not rust or make you green. Our Swarovski jewellery is fun, funky, trendy as well as classy. There's a little bit of something for everyone.

All our jewellery needs cleaning on a regular basis, just like any other piece of jewellery, and you will need to be extra careful when using detergents, such as washing dishes or using any cleaning products. We recommend removing the jewellery before using harsh products, as the chemicals may put black spots on the jewellery, or cause damage.

Please take care while spraying perfumes and other body sprays and lotions while wearing your Playboy jewellery, as this may also cause damage such as black spots or tainting of the metals.

Playboy Bags

Our Playboy Bags are authorised or authentic Playboy. Authorised Playboy bags are made by an external manufacturer with authority from Playboy Enterprises. This means the authorised bags need to meet strict quality criteria just like the Authentic items. For more information regarding the Playboy licensing, please visit Wikipedia

While attractive and sturdy, our line of bags are not indestructable, and care needs to be taken with them. They are hard wearing and generally easily cleaned, but like any bag, they will not last if mistreated.

TheBunny.co.nz reserves the right to refuse replacement or repair if a bag has had damage caused by the user.

IRON-ON TRANSFER INSTRUCTIONS

Hand ironing your iron-on trasfer image

Before beginning, please make sure the item that you are applying your transfer to it white or light/pale coloured, and 100% cotton, or 50% cotton/50% polyester.

Pre-heat the iron on its highest temperature setting for at least 8 minutes. The iron must be extremely hot. DO NOT use the steam function.

Do not use an ironing board – ironing board covers are often padded and do not provide a solid enough surface on which to apply your transfer. Use bare wood, glass or metal surface.

Place a pillowcase (or similar) on the ironing surface with the open end hanging over the edge and smooth it flat so there are no wrinkles.

Place your article on the pillowcase, i.e. t-shirt, sweatshirt, etc. so that the area you want the image to be transferred to is centred on the pillowcase surface. Smooth out the fabric so that there are no wrinkles.

** You may want to iron the pillowcase and the fabric so that they are both smooth before ironing on the transfer. Be sure to let both items cool before placing the transfer on the fabric.

Preheat the garment for a few seconds to remove an excess moisture from the fabric and allow the fabric to cool. This will aid in the adhesion of the image to the fabric.

** Make sure your garment is completely cool before beginning to iron on your transfer.

Place the image to be transferred face down on the garment in the desired position so that the back side of the transfer paper is facing up towards you.

The image needs to be “set” on the fabric, so that it does not move while being transferred. To do this, press the iron firmly over the transfer for 15-20 seconds in several areas, making sure to cover the entire transfer in the process. It is important that you press straight down, applying as much downward pressure as you possibly can for this step, and lift up the iron completely when repositioning to do another area.

Using a circular motion and heavy pressure, evenly heat the transfer for another 15-20 seconds. Put the iron down and gently rub the hot transfer with a soft, clean cloth for 5-10 seconds. Peel the transfer backing immediately after pressing.
CAUTION: THE TRANSFER WILL BE HOT

Washing and Drying Instructions

Always turn your garment inside out. This will minimize the amount of abrasion that the transfer will encounter with other garments in the wash.

Wash the garment in cold water using a mild detergent. DO NOT USE BLEACH.

Remove the garment from the washing machine immediately and allow it to air dry. Avoid tumble drying wherever possible, but when used, select the air only setting.

Troubleshooting

Please remember to apply as much downward pressure as possible when ironing on your transfer. Not applying enough pressure will result in a partial picture transfer. If you begin to peel the transfer paper back and you feel resistance, continue applying downward pressure with the iron on the rest of the transfer.

Because of the danger of hot irons and the amount of “muscle” needed to push down on the transfer with the iron, application by adolescents is not recommended. Should it be desired or necessary to allow your child to apply your transfer(s), please closely supervise them.
